Book Counselling Sessions
To be referred for counselling, contact our office team.
A qualified counsellor will arrange to call you for an initial assessment.
The purpose of the first contact is to ensure you understand the process and can consent (known as Gillick Competent).
If the qualified counsellor has some reservations at the end of the initial assessment, we will require guardian/parental consent to proceed.
Once consent has been achieved, we will invite you to attend an assessment for counselling, which we will use to match you with one of our therapists. This can be done online or over the phone. You are welcome to join alone or with your guardian/parent. However, your guardian/parent cannot attend future counselling sessions.

A qualified therapist will then review your referral and match you with a suitable counsellor.
Our office staff will reach out within five days of receiving your referral with an offer of counselling.
If you accept the sessions offered, our office staff will schedule your first appointment and arrange payment.
If you are happy to proceed with your matched therapist after your first appointment, our office staff will discuss further bookings.
If you are not satisfied with your counsellor or their theoretical approach, our team will contact you about your preferences in further detail and discuss other available therapists we could pair you with.
